The Duo Elisa Urrestarazu (saxophone) and Cornelia Lenzin (piano) was formed on the occasion of the presentation of their project "La senda de las emociones" in Málaga, a multidisciplinary show featuring audiovisual art, dance, electronics and contemporary music. At the same time, they presented the program "Women Composers", which consists of unpublished transcriptions for saxophone and piano, such as the "Sonata" (1919) by Rebecca Clarke. In late 2019, they released their first CD with works by women composers.
Committed to contemporary music and the empowerment of women in the arts, the duo performs newly created works and new versions by Jost Meier, Marcelo Nisinman, Balz Trümpy and Nelly LiPuma. In addition, they play a large repertoire of standard works for saxophone and piano.
